Nativity scenes are huge in Germany, especially in Koln. Here is one that is outside the Dom.

I took about 10 pictures trying to get this shot. I was still not successful. I wanted to show the gold cross that was on a communion table and a crucifix way in the background. You can see what I was going for here.

You can see the contrast of the different stones here. As they replace different sections of the cathedral, they look new and then slowly deteriorate. I love this shot because it shows at least three distinct eras.

This is the very top of one of the towers. We had to climb roughly 500 steps to get to this point.
